The lodge offers a great opportunity to relax while watching beautiful wild bison roam along the river or visit their gift/tackle shop, where they sell organic bison meat, free range organic chicken eggs and other interesting items.

The dining experience is a very integral part of visiting this unique lodge. All of the meat, salad, eggs, fruit (when in season), cheese, and vegetables are locally grown and the majority is also organic. The lodge is able to guarantee that their food is of its utmost freshest possible standard because of the relationship that the owners have with the farmers and producers of the food. They are able to guarantee that the food is at its prime. 

Samples of the delicious cuisine will be offered to the cyclists that partake in the Slow Food Cycle Tour on August 25th. The Cycle Tour presents a great opportunity for interested participants to explore the riverside edge, view the bison in their natural environment and taste some delicious samples. Cyclist need to ensure that they get to the lodge before 2 pm, when the lodge closes to the public, or they will miss out on an experience that they will never forget.
