Nicolletta Grippo and family are the magicians behind this Italian dessert destination. Nicoletta is one of nine children in the Grippo family and the manager of Dolce Amore. She commissioned a mural from artist Kris Friesen to run the entire length of the gelateria’s sunny south wall beside the terrace on Graveley St. Friesen’s work is a beautifully painted view of Venice, the city of origin of Grippo’s grandmother.
Gelateria DOLCE AMORE carries 24 gelato and 24 sorbetto flavours with each and every taste taking you back to the smells, sights and sounds of the old country.
