Happy Days Goat Dairy Farm

Happy Days Dairies/Heavenly Cheese store is a great place to find pure, natural healthy dairy products. During the cycle tour, Stuart and Carolyn will be offering tours of the processing plant between 10am and 3pm.  Come try their products and buy their ice cream! 

Happy Days Goat Dairies has been producing goat milk products since 1993. The owner Donat Koller (a Swiss cheese maker) started by milking seventy goats and supplying local stores in Salmon Arm with goat milk products.  In 2001 the second plant operated by Stuart Bryant opened in Chilliwack to serve the now growing fluid market. Happy Days Chilliwack came into being because the local goat farmers in the Fraser Valley found themselves in a situation where they had nowhere to sell their raw milk. Happy Days Dairies in Salmon Arm was caught in a situation where they needed to expand. The fluid market was growing day by day and there was not enough milk or time to service the industry from the plant in Salmon Arm. It was a great fit. Cheese products were made in Salmon Arm and the fluid goat milk was processed in Chilliwack. All three major grocery chains purchase their goat milk from Happy Days Dairies. The goat cheeses can be found all over western Canada back to Toronto. In 2005 a small cheese store called Heavenly Cheese was opened on the site in Chilliwack. This store services the locals with fresh product and people come as far away as North Vancouver and Boston Bar to get their fresh milk and various cheeses. Store hours are noon to 5pm from Wednesday to Saturday and you can get in contact with them by phoning (604)823-7241. The store motto is “try before you buy.” This year the Chilliwack plant started producing goat yogurt and got a yogurt drink so that the store will always have these fresh products available.
