PJV Farms

PJV Farms originally started on Hopedale Rd in 1963 by Peter Sr. and Hendrika Vink and moved to its current location on Cannor Rd in 1976. The farm is now run by son Peter Jr., and grandsons Andrew and David. In 2003 the farm underwent an extensive renovation that included a new loafing barn as well as a parallel parlour. The farm is home to 100 mature Holstein cows and 90 head of young stock that are used as replacements for the dairy herd. Most of the feed is raised on the 100 acre home farm with dry cows on pasture on 15 acres in Yarrow.
PJV Farms is a family farm with all of the labour done by the family. Peter Jr. has been on the farm since 1980.
