August 21 - 5th Annual Tomato Potluck Picnic

Perfect weather blesses the 5th annual Slow Food Tomato Potluck Picnic

Following several days of cool, damp weather, the skies cleared on the morning of the Tomato Potluck Picnic at Kits Beach. It must have been good karma, because we were treated to a beautiful evening and a spectacular sunset at our new venue for the picnic. We were even entertained by a group of Morris dancers nearby. The dishes were, as alwasy, delicious and inventive, and they showcased the August bounty that is the BC tomato. Thanks to all participants for the contributions. We’re already looking forward to the 2008 edition of the picnic.
