This April, Slow Food Vancouver, in partnership with the Vancouver Cherry Blossom Festival, is launching an exciting new food-focused event that promises a truly, beautiful Vancouver Spring experience in our city – the Slow Food BIKE THE BLOSSOMS.

This unique event will see hundreds of enthusiastic participants embark on a leisurely cycle along designated City bike routes to view the peak blossoming of Kanzan cherry trees, stopping along the way to enjoy the culinary pleasures of eight of Vancouver’s unique eateries and coffee houses selected by Slow Food.  The routes will also include special stops showcasing Fraser Valley farmers (partnered with local host businesses), where cyclists will be able to sample local and artisan foods with an opportunity to speak with these local producers.  For more details go to:  BIKE THE BLOSSOMS
