A cooking class and feast celebrating our local abundance of organic food and wine
Join local Chef and Holistic Cooking Instructor, Andrea Potter of Rooted Nutrition for this unique 3 course dinner and cooking class featuring food and wines from the Similkameen Valley and the Gulf Islands!
This evening includes: A 3 course meal of local and organic food and wines; ‘How-to’ live cooking demonstration of your meal; Recipes so that you can re-create the feast!; Nutrition tips and information
Menu:
Appetizer - summer garden salad with roots, shoots and leaves. Blackberry-herb vinaigrette.
Main - paella, featuring locally sourced fish, spot prawns and shellfish, pasture fed, organic meats and farm-fresh summer vegetables
Dessert - sabayon with summer berries and orchard fruits and cheese plate
