resource center for agriculture
Visit to the B.C. Farm Machinery Museum.
Join Sharon Rempel from The Garden Institute of BC (tgibc.org) and Museum farming experts and discuss the process of producing grain and vegetables.
Be introduced to the various scales of production and explore the technology of the old equipment. Understanding the past helps us create more ‘green’ technology for local food production today. The Museum has an excellent archives and resource center for agriculture.
Meet at the Museum at 10 am and plan to spend a few amazing hours talking ‘food’ production.
Sharon can be contacted via grassrootsolutions.com or via .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) (minimum $5 donation to the Museum, event free otherwise).
Event time May 10th, 10 am - 1 pm.
Museum address 9131 King Street,
Fort Langley, B.C
