Business Opportunities at New City Market

The New City Market team are currently holding workshops and are looking to gather your input to help make New City Market a success for you and the community.

Where: Vancouver and Abbotsford

Why: When New City Market is built, it will have numerous opportunities for farmers and processors to sell direct through various channels such as a farmers’ market, chefs’ market or an aggregation service.

What: The New City Market (NCM) concept in Vancouver, BC has been developed over an 18-month period with the primary purpose to fill a major gap in the local food system that is not being satisfied by the food industry.

How:Learn more about New City Market and discuss in groups other ways to enhance the business plan. You can also fill out an Expression of Interest form at the workshop. Light refreshments will be provided.
